Weight loss program in Singapore: Dropzone

Dropzone is a practitioner-guided weight loss program created by Singapore nutritionist Sheeba Majmudar. Instead of handing everyone the same diet, it starts by reading your blood test, then shapes the plan around what your results show.

Who the program is for

Dropzone is designed for adults who want a structured, personalised way to lose body fat. It tends to suit people who:

  • have tried several diets and regained the weight, or never saw it move
  • feel they eat well and exercise, but their weight does not reflect the effort
  • want to understand what is going on in their body before they commit to a plan
  • prefer a guided plan with clear steps and regular support
  • would like a nutrition-led approach, and are not looking for prescription medicine

It is not the right starting point for everyone. If you are pregnant, under 18, have a health condition or take regular medication, please speak to your doctor and tell us before you begin. Vegans may also find the program difficult because the protein options are limited.

Why previous diets may not have worked

If you have lost weight and regained it, you are in good company, and it does not mean you lack discipline. Sheeba's clients are often told that their weight is simply a matter of willpower. Her view is that weight is also a question of biology. Most diets give the same advice to everyone, but people differ in their hormones, nutrient levels, stress, sleep and digestion.

Several things can make weight loss harder, and a general diet will not tell you which ones apply to you:

  • Hormones. Thyroid function, cortisol and insulin sensitivity all influence how the body uses and stores energy.
  • Nutrient gaps. Low levels of key nutrients can affect energy and make it harder to stay active.
  • Gut health and inflammation. Digestive problems can affect how well you absorb nutrients and how you feel from day to day.
  • Muscle loss. Harsh calorie cuts can take muscle as well as fat, and losing muscle can work against your metabolism.
  • The plan after the diet. Without a planned way back to normal eating, old habits and old weight can return.

Finding out which factors matter for you is the purpose of the first step. If your main concern is broader than weight, such as ongoing fatigue or gut symptoms, Sheeba's naturopathic nutrition consultations may be a better place to start.

How Metabolic Mapping shapes your plan

Every Dropzone client begins with Metabolic Mapping, which the clinic calls its clinical North Star. It is a functional analysis of 42+ metabolic markers in your blood test, covering areas such as cellular hydration, adrenal function, thyroid function and gut health. Standard reports often tell you whether a result is inside a reference range. Metabolic Mapping looks at how results relate to each other and what the pattern may mean for your metabolism.

You then go through the findings in a 50-minute consultation and receive a personalised protocol roadmap. Your map decides what comes first: whether you need a preparation stage, which nutrients to support and which tier is likely to suit your goal. This is why two people on the same tier can have different plans.

How the program works, step by step

  1. Book a blood test. Book it through Dropzone in Singapore, or use a recent test of your own.
  2. Send your results. The team begins the analysis.
  3. Have your Metabolic Mapping consultation. You find out what the results show about your hormones, detoxification and inflammation.
  4. Follow your preparation plan. Targeted support addresses nutrient gaps and root triggers. This may take about 4 to 12 weeks, depending on your results.
  5. Choose your tier. You select the tier that matches your goals.
  6. Start the program. You follow a structured food plan with supplements, tutorials and check-ins.

The protocol uses a structured food plan with nano-supplements, which Dropzone calls instant-absorption Nanosomes. It is designed to activate autophagy, the body's natural cellular recycling process, and to encourage the body to burn stored fat while protecting muscle. Dropzone describes the journey in eight phases: Metabolic Mapping, Ignition, Activation, Burn, Transition, Maintenance, Sustenance and Mastery. The later phases matter as much as the early ones, because they cover careful refeeding and the long-term habits that help you maintain your progress.

Duration and pricing

Metabolic Mapping is a one-time assessment at SGD 750 with the blood test arranged in Singapore, or SGD 200 less if you use your own test. It includes a full blood analysis, a 50-minute consultation, a personalised roadmap, and hormone and gut health markers. Prices are as shown on dropzone.fit and may change.

The program itself comes in four tiers. Pricing is given at consultation.

Tier 3: Transformation3 + 3 weeks3

Client results

Results vary from person to person, so we do not quote a typical figure here. Sheeba has worked with more than 20,000 clients worldwide over 20+ years, and you can read what clients say in their own words on our testimonials page. Your own progress is tracked with objective measures: your weight and, where useful, a repeat blood test.

How Dropzone differs from medication-led weight care

Weight loss medicines prescribed by a doctor are a valid option for many people, and for some they may be the safest or most appropriate choice. A doctor can assess your medical risks, prescribe treatment and monitor you. If you have obesity-related health problems, that medical advice is important, whether or not you also work with a nutritionist.

Dropzone is a different kind of service, and the differences are practical:

Medication-led careDropzone
Led byA doctorA nutritionist and her team
Main toolPrescription medicine, with lifestyle adviceA structured food plan and supplements, with no prescription medicine
Starting pointMedical assessmentMetabolic Mapping of your blood test
Medical diagnosis and treatmentYesNo

Some people will prefer one route, and others may use both at different times. If you are already taking a weight loss medicine, tell us, and do not stop it without talking to your doctor. Supplements can also affect how some medicines work, so your doctor should know about everything you take.
